Once a year, streets all over the world from Monte-Carlo to Macau transform into professional racing circuits to play host to some the greatest drivers and cars in the world. Parking lots are turned into paddocks, parks are re-modelled with grandstands, and intersections on the road become high-speed overtaking points in battles for world championships – and that’s exactly the spirit we’ve tried to capture at this year’s brand new and enhanced Top Gear Festival Durban Street Circuit lay-out.

Visitors to this year’s Top Gear Festival - powered by Shell V-Power are in for a round of extreme entertainment and adrenaline-filled motoring action. 

Top Gear Presenters Jeremy Clarkson and James May along with their infamous tame racing driver The Stig, will once again burn rubber on the tar tracks of Moses Mabhida Stadium from June 15-16, 2013, during Durban’s second Top Gear Festival powered by Shell V-Power.

Top Gear Festival is proud to have two-time Formula One World Champion Mika Häkkinen joining the street circuit festivities this year.

Top Gear Festival returns to the streets of Durban and the Moses Mahbida Stadium for the long weekend of the 15-16th June 2013. Tickets go on sale from 28 November 2012and what better way to treat family and friends than with this EXPLOSIVE motoring experience!
